Common Entrance Test (LAWCET) 2013 and Postgraduate LAW Common Entrance Test (PGLCET)
2013 will be held by Sri
Venkateswara University
Programmes
Candidates
must be Indian nationals, and must also satisfy local/unreserved status
requirements for Andhra Pradesh.
Three-year
LLB / BL (LAWCET)
In order
to appear for the test, you should have a graduate degree (10+2+3) or
equivalent exam from a recognised university with aggregate marks of at least
45 percent.
For
Scheduled Castes/Schedule Tribes (SC/ST)
candidates, there is a five percent relaxation of marks.
Five-year
LLB / BL (LAWCET)
To be
eligible for this course, you should have passed the two-year intermediate
examination (10+2) or equivalent with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks.
For SC/ST
candidates, there is a five percent relaxation of marks.
LLM / ML (PGLCET)
Eligibility
for the course includes an LLB / BL degree. Final year LLB / BL students
appearing (or who have appeared) for their exam are also eligible.
You must
apply online to appear for the test. You will need to have all necessary
documents ready, including date of birth, hall ticket for Secondary School
Certificate exam (or equivalent), local status, applicable certificates and
parental income. For LAWCET, the fee is Rs 250, for PGLCET the fee is Rs 500.
You can pay for the test by debit or credit card. You may also submit payment
through AP online, e-Seva or Mee-Seva center.
